The Burkes bring their Vocal and Saxophone Gifts to Paducah "in a Metropolitan Mood!" - February 9, 2009

Vocalist Abby Burke returns to the PSO stage after her rousing Holiday POPS 2007 performance to bring us the music of Hotel Metropolitan Greats and other R & B legends. She will be joined by her husband Glenn Burke, saxophonist, who will be the feature performer on several works most notably the Ellington “Three Kings: Dr. Martin Luther King.”
This salute will feature selections of music made famous by Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, B. B. King, Stevie Wonder, and many other African-American greats. Special Guest Thomas Wilson will conduct this performance.

A & TMB Chosen as Arts Representatives!!! UPDATE.. - October 6, 2008

The TN Arts Commission has chosen Abby Burke feat. The Manly Band to represent our great state at the 2008 National Assembly of Arts Agencies to be held in Chattanooga TN! A & TMB performed during the "Leadership Luncheon" on Friday September 12, 2008! From the various emails and notes we have received, it appears that this performance ROCKED THE HOUSE! Thanks- Tn Arts!
