Due to the nature of the world and the way life changes, along with the addition of SOUL FILLED BLUES.... Abby Burke feat. The Manly band has taken on the mission of SOUL CATCHING by becoming: Abby Burke and THE SOUL.CATCHERS

Vocalist Abby Burke returns to the PSO stage after her rousing Holiday POPS 2007 performance to bring us the music of Hotel Metropolitan Greats and other R & B legends. She will be joined by her husband Glenn Burke, saxophonist, who will be the feature performer on several works most notably the Ellington “Three Kings: Dr. Martin Luther King.”
This salute will feature selections of music made famous by Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, B. B. King, Stevie Wonder, and many other African-American greats. Special Guest Thomas Wilson will conduct this performance.

The TN Arts Commission has chosen Abby Burke feat. The Manly Band to represent our great state at the 2008 National Assembly of Arts Agencies to be held in Chattanooga TN! A & TMB performed during the "Leadership Luncheon" on Friday September 12, 2008! From the various emails and notes we have received, it appears that this performance ROCKED THE HOUSE! Back in Late 2006, Abby Burke, Scat Springs and a bunch of other folks were asked to do an album that both Parents and Kids would enjoy...well, the product is "Jazz and Swing for Kids." On March 7th, 2008, A & TMB recorded Live at the French Quarter Cafe. Amid the Snow and the cold...some serious HOT GOSPEL FILLED BLUES Spilled out of the French Quarter Cafe. Songs like "Blue Rain," "Satisfied," and the fabulous "Sweet Honey from the Rock" are being mastered and will be available by mid may.....keep a look out!
